My daughter (9) saw you @ Alpine last week. You took time to chat to her and seriously it made her month - she was talking about it constantly. She was so determined after spending time with you, she went off and did some diamonds by herself for the first time.
I am sure to watch you for time to come - go get em in 2014!

Congrats! Errol, great effort for a first timer, the youngest competitor and an event that is still in its infancy,as much as you would have love to medal, we Jamaicans think you did awsome. Did you?.... better luck next time.

My mom is Jamaican and you should have seen her reaction when you came out swinging the black, green, and gold. She was saying, " ONE SOLE JAMAICAN, WE HAVE A JAMAICAN IN THE WINTER OLYMPICS!!!" We are all proud of you, and can't wait to see you do your thing Sunday... GO JAMAICA!!!!

Great web site Errol!

I stumbled across the Spider Jamaican ski team down filled jacket last month and had to buy it. It is a great jacket. I forgot my North Face last month on a trip up to Whistler, last month, when the it was -17 F/27 C and -36 F/38 C with windchill and it kept me warm as pie.

The Jacket got me curious about the Jamaican ski team so I googled it and hear I am. To my surprise you are participating in the ski cross and I got tickets to the mens Ski Cross event in Vancouver at Cypress Mt. on Feb. 21. I am pumped. I will be there proudly sporting the Jamaican flag and Jacket.

I am a long time resident of Vancouver with Jamaican roots, so if you need any recommendations of where to eat, go for a beer, or anything else while you are in town let me know.

Wishing you the best of luck in the months to come.

Hello Errol and Catherine,
Catherine it was a delight speaking with you and look forward to helping you in anyway that I can with your effort while you are at Blue Mountain.
Our chalet is 3mins.drive from the main lodge where your event is taking place and we are reiterating how much we would like to be your hosts while you are here.
There are 3 spare bedrooms and a hot tub for after skiing,Lesley and I could share a car so you could have use of the other. One of us could pick you up at Toronto if you like.
Lemme Know Man!

Errol, you never cease to amaze me. Smart move - moving to the Jamaican team. My belief is that you would have made it either way. Your Jamaican sponsors are coming through like all-stars! You have already brought much attention to Jamaica because of your efforts and increased much needed resources to the island. My late dad was also from Westmoreland. I was raised not to fail and I see you are carrying the same Jamaican traditional upbringing to your sport! Spyder must also be happy. That hat you have on is,"sold-out"! I wanted to buy a couple for x-mas presents. When they make another batch, I will right on top of it. I must invest in the entire outfit, me and my family will be the other Jamaicans out there skiing in the green, black and yellow. Bless up and be free!! Abana

Congratulations Errol and I know you'll do well in Vancouver! Funny I had to hear about this through a Canadian co-worker here in Toronto who saw the ski suit in Sporting Life. I will have to spread the word among the Jamaidians I know and help increase the support (both financially and otherwise).
